What happens when your content is set as Made for Kids
Starting in January, we limit the data that we collect on Made for Kids content to comply with the law. This means that we will start disabling certain features like comments, notifications and others. Note: You may see some small changes as we experiment and refine our systems over the next few months.
Most importantly, we won't serve personalised ads on Made for Kids content, as required by the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and/or other applicable laws. Not serving personalised ads on Made for Kids content may result in a decrease in revenue for some creators who mark their content as Made for Kids. What do I do if YouTube says my video is Made for Kids, but I disagree?
When checking videos, you may notice that YouTube has already set some videos as 'Made for Kids'. Since you haven't had a chance yet to set your video as Made for Kids or not, you'll be able to do this now (note that your audience setting will still be subject to YouTube's review for error and abuse). Here's how:
Go to studio.youtube.com.
Go to Videos.
Go to the video that you'd like to edit and under Restrictions, click Made for Kids.
Click Review audience setting.
Under Audience, select 'No. It's not Made for Kids'.
If you've already set your audience for your video and YouTube detects error or abuse, you will see your video marked as 'Made for Kids - Set by YouTube'. You won't be able to change your audience setting. If you disagree, you can use the 'Send feedback' button.
Пишет сам ютуб. Это в бета студии ссылка "как понять, что мои видео детские?" и в конце текста фраза "за нарушение этих правил - блокировка аккаунта".
Пишут, что за такое будут блокировать аккаунт.
Тоже ютуб сам все пометил. Причём, некоторые явно детские не пометил, а те, что совсем не детские оказались отмечены. И просмотры резко упали.
Похоже, наконец восторжествовал здравый смысл. Что не ютуб несёт ответственность за чьих-то детей, что они делают, и что смотрят, а их родители.
Там есть список - в какой стране с какого возраста считаются взрослыми. В основном, 13, но есть страны, где 14-16. А 18+ - это конкретные видео имеются ввиду, это всегда такое было и не меняется.
Это зависит от того, на какую страну крутятся видео. Нижний - это, видимо, Россия, Индия, Вьетнам и прочие.
Судя по всему, развития событий ждёт само руководство ютуба (я о пересмотре закона), потому что обещанной функции, где можно будет указать, для какого возраста видео, так и не появляется. Ютуб вообще замолчал на эту тему. И с 11 июля ничего в алгоритмах не меняется.
А вышеупомянутый закон - слушания продлили до 9 декабря, потом у самих этих конгрессменов (или кто они) каникулы, потом новогодние праздники. В итоге, не раньше следующего года с законом этим решать будут..
Не, ну подождать до нового года полюбому стоит.
А новый канал - это же не дом, чтобы сначала сносить, а потом новый строить. Каналы и параллельно можно. Но надо все с чистого листа начинать, а куча труда коту под хвост.. И с ютубом, кстати, нет гарантий, что и следующий канал через пару лет не попадёт так же под какой-нибудь идиотский закон.
