Пейпал один раз копировали нам вырезку из их правил, где указано, что они не рассматривают диспуты по поводу виртуальных сервисов (как хостинг, домены, серверы)
Еще добавили, что все вопросы вы должны регулировать с поставшиков сервиса (в нашем случае был ДЦ)
Выбор за вами.
Если выделенный сервер, то это цена около 50$ + админ и контрол панель, если сами не умеете
Если есть бюджет на выделенный сервер, то берите. Хотя для начала я бы посоветовал виртуальный хостинг. Что будет через год-полтора, никто не знает. А переехать всегда можно
Я их не защищаю, мы очень настрадались с ихними VPS, сейчас висят два заказа на выд. сервера, которыя 10 дней не устанавливают (Видимо в связи с переездом) придется возвращать деньги, но как бы в хорошие (не хочу говорить былые) времена их цена соответствовала качеству. :)
1) Мы работали всегда с одной площадкой, которая переехала впервые
2) Нас не устраивает, но у нас висит предупреждение, что это low cost. Клиенты знают, на что идут
3) Этот момент нас не коснулся, так как 1)
4) А кто от этого застрахован? Вы можете дать гарантию, что ваш ДЦ завтра не сделает тоже самое?
П.С. другие локации у нас Leaseweb, Datadock и тд. Наверное они еще хуже
Мы не работали с ними 3-4 года назад, ничего не можем сказать. Но один раз полетел диск, клиенту в течении 5-6 часов сделали. Один раз кабель испортился, те же сроки.
Про VPS молчу, это тихий ужас
Их выделенные сервера работают практически без проблем. По крайней мере процент отказа ниже, чем от остальных ДЦ
Сервера поднимают. Сегодня один подняли за два часа.
Я так понимаю они продались

The DigiPLUS Company announced today that it has assumed the assets and client contracts of BurstNET®, a worldwide leader in Web Hosting and Internet Solutions. The new management company has relocated one of its three data centers from Scranton, Pennsylvania to Charlotte, North Carolina.

The new data center has earned a Tier 3 rating as a highly redundant location with eight carriers and three times the bandwidth capacity of BurstNET’s former data center location in Pennsylvania. DigiPLUS also utilizes data centers in Miami, Florida and Los Angeles, California.

Additional executive team members have been brought on to assist in the transition. They include Brandon Dorsey as Vice President of Finance and Arthur Cote as Vice President of Operations.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
