Crutop.nu is one of the oldest and largest adult webmasters communities
where members are engaged in the online business of adult entertainment and
related business models.

While obviously the business model of the forum and its members is far from
being the most morally proper in the world never the less this business
model is well within law borders and does not violate laws of Russia, USA or
international as far as we can judge and is definitely not related with any
cyber crime, mail spam or other.

We have been very surprised when we have discovered our forum in the list of
criminal organizations in the FTC Memorandum where on Page 18, paragraph 2
is entirely based on the fact that 3FN is promoted on www.crutop.nu and is
named "3FN actively recruits criminals" , furthermore "Crutop.nu is a
Russian language website that features a variety of discussion 11 forums
that focus on making money from spam".

On our forum indeed exists and always was there a sub-forum called SPAM, but
the name of sub-forum name is a joke on the form of communication in between
members of the forum related to promotion of their services to each other.
The reason is that by forum rules any form of promotion of any kind of
services, for example of an affiliate program, or design or service, or
web-hosting service, is forbidden in sub-forums which are related to
business or other communication and is considered to be
"off-topic" so it would not interfere with the normal communication or chat.


Similar rules are accepted worldwide on all professional forums (for example
"Sell and Buy" sub-forum on GofuckYourself.com, USA's largest similar to
Crutop.nu website), and for promotion there always is a separate sub-forum.
For the sake of humor and to make a point of how important the rule of no
promotion in other sub-forums is, the sub-forum for promotion was called
SPAM, the word for offtopic posting in Russian internet slang is "spamming",
but obviously it has nothing to do with mail spam.

We would like to point Your attention to a simple fact that agent "Rett",
who was registered on our forum, obviously did not read properly the rules
which he has accepted upon registration, which are in Russian, but when You
actually scroll them down You get the English version as well, for our
foreign guests, which says, quotation:

3.Black PR... ("My name is John Fuck, I made my first million on this
super-mega-sponsor which by the way WILL EVEN PAY COUPLE OF PENNIES TO YOUR

4. Open propaganda of CP and lolitas shit...

5. SPAM is not fucking welcome! SPAM Hostings are not fucking welcome! Spam
email lists are NOT fucking welcome! SPAM forum on Crutop is devoted to
advertising of new offers such as design, programming, whatfuckingever, but
not SPAM itself as mass mailings! Dont fuck us with this crap we're tired of
deleting.

6. Content ads without samples. Please post content ads ONLY with samples in
order to stay away from the popular way of fraud.

7. Any type of promotion MUST disclose the particularities of the offer.
Shady deals with insufficient descriptions and luring into private messaging
are strictly forbidden! Do not try to fool the forum attendants.

8. Adware, malware, spyware, codecs and other subversive executable programs
promoted under the guise of adult are not allowed.

9. You're allowed to post after 1 day since your registration, to protect
from auto-spam bots.

Please use real email during registration (password will only be seen
there).

Of the rest, we dont give a fuck...

Please take our apologies for the informal language, but these are our exact
rules quoted from the website, where it says CLEARLY (paragraph 5) that any
discussions related to mail-spam are forbidden, any discussions related to
virus or botnet based business (paragraph 8) are forbidden, and any
discussions related to child pornography (paragraph 4) are obviously
forbidden as well.
These rules has been updated but never edited since 9 years the forum has
existed and Crutop.nu has been always known among Russian based webmasters
for not being a place to discuss any cyber-crime.

We understand that mere rules list can not be a prove for conclusions for
the Commission and that is why we are ready to provide an apostilled
translation copy of any message or forum as a whole if any of the interested
parties would be willing to pay for this expensive job.

And in conclusion we would like to add, that while paragraph 1 of our rules
has never been taken seriously before and was written as a joke, but related
to recent events we would like to know how it was possible that five (5!)
reputable experts-agents (including NASA experts and Mr. Brian Krebs) from
USA (where every 10th person speaks Russian, source: Wikipedia), could not
figure out that on Crutop.nu in the SPAM sub-forum discussions have nothing
to do with mail spam or other cyber-crimes?

By this letter we would like to inform You that we are preparing legal
action towards all parties including mass-media who has posted improper and
non-verified information related to our website.
