Why do United Airlines Cancel Flight? There are cases when United Airlines cancel flight on their end. This happens sometimes due to technical issues, absence of the pilots, or overbooking accepted by the Airlines. As a resolution to this problem and for customer convenience, the airline offers the customer to either take the next available flight or cancel it. Such flight tickets are subject to compensation.
