В ДЛЕ много составляющих, поэтому лучше в исходнике заменять то что синонимизировали (сами новости) а не целиком код. Программа не различает текст и код, поэтому синонимизирует все что находит подходящее.
Плюс нужно присылать не бэкап, а экспортировать базу в архиве zip, gz
Кстати программа синонимизирует и html файлы.
То есть в каждом конкретном случае стоит попробывать.
