eNom and NameCheap suspend domains based on bogus claims by a fake company!
A domain I had in namecheap for over 3 years buychantix.com has been suspended recently and the site was taken down.
No C&D letter, no prior notice, even no notification when it was done. They simply suspended my domain and took down the site. I only found out about it when I logged in to my account.
After I contacted both enom and Namecheap they said their "trusted partner" legitscript.com listed my site as being an illegal online pharmacy that sells non FDA approved medications.
The site buychantix.com is not a pharmacy and definitely doesn't sell any illegal medications.
It lists information about the quit smoking drug chantix with affiliate links to where people can buy it. Chantix is an FDA approved medication and have been for many years now, it is completely legal. It's a relatively popular medication sold online at many places.
The site was earning a decent amount per month in affiliate commissions and there were many reorders so customers were clearly happy with the quality of the products at 4rx.com. eNom took it away simply because I had affiliate links to a generic online pharmacy. How ridiculous is that? Legitscript is a self appointed pharmacy checking company operating under questionable authority - see here and here for example.
I contacted legitscript and they say their verdict is final and there is basically no way to get the domain back - all because of a link I had on the site.
Did you know you can lose your sites simply by linking to a legitimate generic online pharmacy like 4rx.com with thousands of happy customers - because it's not approved by legitscript? Why? Big pharmacy companies don't want competition from cheaper generic pharmacies and legitscript.com is doing their dirty work.
How can they even do it, is there any legal precedent?
Get all your domains out of enom ASAP. A company that acts like this is not worthy of domainers' business, can't risk having your domains taken away without any notification or warning or even a significant reason. I've been with them for over 5 years with hundreds of domains and I'm moving all of mine to fabulous.com and other registrars soon.

Отписал в ЛС.
Он уже был на Седо(премиум аукцион). Но цена не достигла резерва.
На западе видят в нем только 3 премиум буквы net. Максимальное предложение получил через ЛС на namepros-1000$
А для Российского рынка он имеет большую значимость. Сами посмотрите популярность запроса
