Как конверитровать .iso в .tar?

ну а что тебе мешает его примонтировать?

winrar-ом распакуй, че уж.

на сервере уже винраром можно распаковывать?

а на сервере проще будет примонтировать. или у тебя там нету root ? ну, может быть, 7zip тогда.

пробовал, ошибку выдает

mount -o rw,loop -t iso9660 file.iso /mnt/file/

mount -v:
/root/file.iso on /mnt/file type iso9660 (rw,loop=/dev/loop0) 

tar cvzf file.tgz *

ты пытаешься на этом же примонтированном iso-диске создать архив.

создавай в другом каталоге - полный путь укажи к file.tgz

пытаюсь образ подгрузить и все время ошибки, раз 10 перепробовал и не могу понять причину и как исправить ошибку, подгружаю образ по фтп

наверное этот образ от hetzner-а не видит сетевую карту.

Лучше расскажи какой результат в конце концов тебе нужен, а не как ты пытаешься его получить.

можно же взять современный образ ubuntu - там все железо увидится наверняка. этот образ заведомо собрали правильно.

хочу поставить trixbox или elastix (они оба на центос) и все время выходит такая ошибка, наверное надо по другому загружать образ?

Возможно нужно грузить не образ а архив уже установленной системы

Это разные вещи
