Хочу рассказать, предостеречь о старом (но актуальном до сих пор!) виде мошенничества.

Речь пойдет о фишинге.

Схема проста:

Если вы клиент godaddy.com, то они вам постоянно высылают письма разного содержания.

Вот примеры:

С неопределенной частотой приходят письма с просьбой обновить, проверить хуиз, по правилам ICANN.

И в теле письма сразу и ссылка.

Вот в этом чаще всего и подвох!

Злоумышленники отправляют вам письмо с подменной емейла.

Внутри все тот же гоудеддивсий текст.

Но все ссылки ведут на фишинговые сайта, пример: golidaddy.com (лучше не переходить)

И злоумышленники получают доступ к вашему аккаунту, а может и даже больше, если у вас еще где-то стоит такой пароль.

Были случаи, что взламывали и бывалых домейнеров, например, как это произошло с модератором namepros.com

Godaddy.com - это просто пример, потому что я столкнулся именно с ним, когда мне прислали такой емейл. Присылают и с других регистраторов.
