IDN.com - проблема отображения имени в браузере

Зависит от браузера. Старые версии браузеров и Сафари не переводят пуникод в юникод.

Да, действительно 3.6.13 не переводит, причем с .рф все нормально. Вряд ли это можно как-то устранить.

Уже всю голову сломал... имя красивое, но на каракулях запускать не очень хочется...

Зато хорошо изучите PunyCode :) И кириллица уже будет не нужна.

вбивате в адресную строку:

about:config

и добавляете логическое значение:

network.IDN.whitelist.com -> true

Only until IANA will add .ком to the root and the browsers will automatically white list the TLD.

наташа.com and наташа.ком must resolve to same address, because if one natasha is a teacher for children and one is a 'teacher' for older 'children' , then this causes confusion, and ICANN was born to prevent confusion, so really it's not even up to verisign or anyone else, it's how it has to be to remain a global internet.

Don't believe all you hear around these forums, if you look at posts from here from few years ago you will see how they talked about cyrillic domains then and now everyone is quiet and only the really dumb stubborn members are spitting negative comments with no understanding and reasoning behind them.
