I don't use DLE, but in general - engines have option to add articles in to listing under some categories in time when you add articles to web - you should check and find this option at the same admin-page where you add articles to site... like Wordpress has "tags" option - you add tags and categories at time of posting at the same page

LOL курилка (non-formal name for smoke area) is translated to sympathy Boxing :D

Just go to admin panel and try to add new post. In next menu you can select a category where you want to post your news ( articles ), but you should have already few category's. If still have a problem - contact me via PM ir ICQ
