Куда утекает память?

Нашел в инете статейку как включить своп, начал делать, почему swapon /SWAP

операция не позволяется?

Наверно, по причине OpenVZ-впски.

По поводу конифга mysql - он у вас дефалтный?

Если у вас debian смотрите в директорию /usr/share/doc/mysql-server-5.0/examples/ там есть примеры тюнинга под разное кол-во памяти

попробовал разные конфиги от туда - не помогло :(

сейчас почти ночь, а у меня сразу после перезапуска апача жрет 700-900 метров оперативки. Он лайн не более 50 человек.

Dram, если ничего не помогает - самое время звать специалиста
