Cheese 'N Crackers Deli has evolved into a full scale restaurant and caterer. Volzer’s Hair Shoppe and Spa offers everything from a hair cut to complete spa get-aways. “We’re the only salon and spa in which the spa is totally separate from our salon,” said Volzer. “When you visit our spa, it is a different environment from the salon. The salon is high energy. The spa is very relaxing, sound proof and quiet.” Callihan's deli supplies the box lunches for Volzer's spa. Over 30 years, the two worked together for a successful neighborly relationship. Both businesses grew and needed more space. The businesses straddle the North Canton and Jackson boundaries. “We bought the lot together,” said Volzer. “I’m amazed that people stop by and say, ‘I never knew you were here,’” said Callihan. However, those who are familiar with Cheese 'N Crackers Deli know they offer fabulous homemade soups. “All year long we have soups made from scratch. In the winter we offer chili,” said Callihan. dhw83 Volzer said Cheese ‘N Crackers Deli sells peanut bars that taste a lot like buckeyes. “She uses dark chocolate and they are wonderful,” said Volzer. Callihan said she believes her business is 30 years strong because of the wonderful staff. “We’re sort a “Cheers”-type of a business. We have regulars. We not only know their name, we practically have a computer key to place their same order each time they’re here.” Cheese 'N Crackers Deli caters with deluxe party trays, snack trays, fruit trays and trays with cheese and crackers and vegetables. Catering includes sides such as potato salads and sweet and light macaroni salad, ceasar salads, tossed salads and tortelli salad. Boxed lunches include sandwiches with condiments, salads, pickle and cookies. “We do that ‘little extra’ for our customers that sets us apart,” said Callihan. “Our service sets us apart.” Diners visiting Cheese 'N Crackers Deli will enjoy a variety of breakfasts, lunches and early dinners. The menu is diverse including salads, wraps, roll-ups and sandwiches. Service is important to Volzer too.
