Hello guys. After my first post i got some inspiring messages so i continue to share my knowledge with you. Today i will tell you everything you want to know about LocalRank. Notice for those who don’t know what is it.

LocalRank - is the method to rank at Google when sites that are ranking good for your keyword link to your site.

Imagine you want to rank for keyword “great site”. You will do on-page optimization at first but then you will have to make off-page or simply link-building. Now here localrank joins the game. For example the most natural way to do it is to go to google.com search for “great site”. You will see a huge list of sites that are ranking good for this keyword. After that you need to ask those sites’ owners to link to you. You can look through 1000 of results writing each webmaster. Actually this work will pay off if 20-30 of them will put the link with anchor “great site”. Your site will jump up in rankings very high. As of my experience after i did localrank linking for 1 year old site, it jumped from 15 to 4 page for my main keyword with 15.000.000 competition in just 1 month! I got only 20 or so webmasters that linked to me. Actually i had a great resource for my niche so i can be consiedered as lucky that so many of them linked to me.

But! there is a trick in this method. I hope you understand that nowadays you will hardly find a webmaster that will link to their own competitors. So most of you will say that this method is dead and you actually would be right… if not me =) Being links seller i sold some blogpost on my sites and there was one thing i noticed. My sites started to get traffic from blogpost that i sold on my sites and imagine how i was confused when i found out that i was ranking for some keywords without doing ANYTHING. I started investigation and found that aged sites with high pagerank can rank themselves without doing any SEO. I thought that i found a gem, a holy grail.. and in fact i did!

What i did next was created 30 articles optimized for 1 keyword and posted them to my sites. After they got cached by Google i saw that EVERY! article got ranked for optimized keyword. The ranking were warying from 400 to 3! position in Google. I will say that i have chosen a tough niche - insurance. After that i put a link from all 30 articles to 1 site and waited. The site was 1 year old with pagerank 2. After 2 weeks my site was on the second page from nowhere for “safe auto insurance”. Today it is on the 8th place! I think this example is enough to show you the power of local ranking SEO. Now how to achieve this results when you don’t have any webmaster that is ranking for your keyword that will link to you. The best way i found is to buy blogpost on good sites that have pagerank not less than 3.

IMPORTANT NOTICE! If you will do that DO NOT EVER post same articles to different sites! Or you will have ZERO effect. You articles MUST be unique on all sites! Or Google will not rank them as they will be threated as duplicated content.
