A new extension of Google allows you to create links to a specific page fragment

Google has developed a new extension for Chrome called Link to the Text Fragment A , which allows you to create links to specific text on the page - regardless of its format.

After installing the extension can highlight the text to which you want to refer, press the right mouse button and select «Copy Link to Selected Text».

At the moment, these links are supported in Chrome, and Edge. As for Safari and of Firefox, their developers have not yet said whether they plan to implement this feature.

A new extension was created on the basis of the functions the Text Fragments , recently added to Chromium. This is the same technology that Google now uses the selected snippet.
