Please take notice th*at we will be updatin*g our standard terms *and conditions, which* all contracts operat*e under, in order to *comply with new requi*rements for the regis*tration and managemen*t of Generic Top Leve*l Domains (gTLDs). Th*is update will take e*ffect on December 1st*, 2016.

From December 1st, IC*ANN have mandated tha*t for all gTLDs (such* as .xyz and .com), a* "material change" to* the Ownership inform*ation for a domain wi*ll need to be approve*d by both the old own*er, and the new owner* of the domain, befor*e the change is made.* A 60 day Registrar t*ransfer lock must als*o be applied after an*y change, which it is* hoped will help to m*inimise instances of *domain theft. As part* of the policy domain* owners may appoint a* "Designated Agent" t*o approve the changes* on their behalf, our* policy updates are b*eing made to allow "I*nternet Domain Servic*e BS Corp" to act as *your "Designated Agen*t" in all instances.

You will also have th*e option to opt out o*f the 60 day registra*r transfer lock by co*ntacting our support *team.

The following additio*nal term constitutes *the change to our ter*ms and conditions.

18. DESIGNATED REGIST*RANT CHANGE AND/OR TR*ANSFER AGENT FOR GTLD*S

You agree and author*ise Internet Domain S*ervice BS Corp to act* as your “Designated *Agent” with respect t*o the Inter-Registrar* Transfer Policy (IRT*P) (https://www.icann.org*/resources/pages/regi*strars/transfers-en) for all gTLD domain*s. You agree that as *your “Designated Agen*t” we have the explic*it authority to appro*ve and accept each “C*hange of Registrant” *(as per the IRTP) on *your behalf, whether *this change represent*s a change from your *Registrant informatio*n or to your Registra*nt information, and w*ill do so in all inst*ances. You accept tha*t authorising us to a*ct as your Designated* Agent is a condition* of registering or ma*naging your domain wi*th Internet Domain Se*rvice BS Corp.

If you have any quest*ions about the update*d terms and condition*s, as well as the upd*ated process, please contact customer supp*ort. If you do not wi*sh to be subject to t*he new terms and cond*itions, regrettably y*ou will need to trans*fer your domains to a*nother provider.
